Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.
The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.
A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later released.
Officers detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.
The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
